Low-dose CT scanning improves assessment of ankylosing spondylitis patients

(European League Against Rheumatism) The results of a study presented today at the Annual European Congress of Rheumatology 2017 showed that low dose computed tomography is more sensitive than conventional radiographs (X-rays) in the monitoring of disease progression in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS).
